I plan to put my boat on the market this weekend. I am still debating either a broker or trying it on my own. I live 70 miles from the boat and off on weekends.

If I go at it by myself what is best medium? Boattrader?

Thanks.

If you want to go it alone, Anglers Edge Marine offers a serives for $250.00 that gets you ton of exposure, and Bob gets results.

You can also list it via our brokerage partnership with boatered and help support boatered IF you are able to handle showings. Info here:

List it on craigs list and ebay, that's how I sold mine. I also listed it with Anglers Edge with no results.

Showings are going to be tough if the boat is 70 miles from your house. I'd find a broker.

If it were me I'd try taking Tony and Boater Ed up on their services.

I would wait till next February and list it with a broker.

I tried selling boats by owner and had luck only with a 21 footer I owned many years ago.

BIGGER BOAT - BROKER

smaller boat DIY

Th BROKER takes the emotion out of the deal.

His job is to bring the seller & buyer together.
